Midsummer Scream is coming and we are going!
On July 28 – 29 the Midsummer Scream returns to the Long Beach Convention Center in Southern California to celebrate all things Halloween and Horror.
This Halloween and Horror fan convention has been around for three years and it gets more popular every year.
This year the Halloween and horror convention will feature a huge Hall of Shadows measuring in at 76,000 square feet. The Hall of Shadows is an amazing attraction for Halloween fans every year. The 2018 convention will have at least a dozen haunted attractions, live entertainment, costumed fans, specialty vendors and immersive experiences all throughout the Hall of Shadows.
Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest will also be putting on a harrowing scare zone filled with monsters inside the Hall of Shadows. You can expect to navigate through 50 feet of terrifying terrain.
If you aren’t sold on this chilling event yet, keep in mind tamer Halloween fans can also have a good time. There are children’s tickets available for sale and they have a children’s activity area. There will also be a black cat adoption and cuddle lounge.
Yes, you read that correctly. There will be a lounge area filled with cats for you to sit with, cuddle, pet and even adopt through the non-profit Kitten Rescue Los Angeles.
If things get overwhelming, our staff plan on hiding out in the Black Cat Lounge.
The Long Beach Midsummer Scream is going to be an amazing event filled with escape rooms, live events, scare actors, cosplay, artisan vendors, haunted attractions and more.
The event hours are: Sat 11 am – 7 pm and Sun 11 am – 6 pm.
There will also be an After Dark Summer Halloween Party on Saturday July 28 from 8pm -12 am with a costume party and a $500 costume contest.
